Chelsea are reportedly interested in making a £60 million move for Bayern Munich full-back David Alaba. Some of the clubs support on Twitter are very excited about the possibility of the Austrian moving to the Bridge.
The Mirror has reported that Lampard is eyeing up a move for the 27-year-old, and sees him as the perfect option to resolve the left-back problem Chelsea have experienced this season.

After the clubs transfer ban was lifted, speculation has been rife surrounding names that could come through the door at Stamford Bridge. The left-back spot is one that the Blues could really do with strengthening.
Alaba is the latest name to be mentioned in a list that also features Ben Chilwell and Alex Telles. Bayern are unlikely to be keen on the move, but if the Austrian wants a fresh start, it could yet happen. He has been at Bayern since 2010 and made over 200 appearances for the club.

Chelsea may have their work cut out when it comes to signing the Bayern player in January. The Munich manager yesterday insisted that Alaba is ‘not for sale’ (The Independent). This does not mean the move is dead, but it will certainly tone down the initial reaction.
When the rumours first arose, there was an intense reaction from some Blues fans on Twitter. He is regarded by many as one of the best left-backs in the world and to have him at Chelsea would be quite something.
