Several Chelsea internationals have returned to Cobham training centre ahead of Saturday’s trip to Newcastle United, with Kai Havertz having solo training session to build up his fitness.

There are still a few players missing from the Thursday’s training sessions including Christian Pulisic, who is still struggling with a hamstring injury and Thiago Silva, who is unlikely to be in the squad for the weekend’s game.

But Frank Lampard will certainly be happy that Ben Chilwell and Havertz are now back in training.
