Chelsea will have to prepare for hectic fixtures as the Premier League broadcasters reportedly reached an agreement on provisional dates for Premier League and FA Cup matches.

The Premier League is set to restart on June 17 but Chelsea will have to wait until the end of the week for their first game since the football suspension.

The Blues will play their away fixture against Aston Villa on Sunday, June 21, but it remains unclear whether the game will take place at Villa Park or at a neutral venue.

The Premier League chief executive Richard Masters previously told Sky Sports: “It’s our preference to play the games where they were originally planned home and away but there are some concerns.

“We’ll have a clearer picture in the next seven to 10 days but we hope the amount of games will be low.”

Interestingly, the suspended FA Cup quarterfinal tie between Chelsea and Leicester is also planned to take place in June.

Here are the reported first four Chelsea matches for the Project Restart (reported by the Independent)

Sunday, June 21 – Aston Villa vs Chelsea – 4.30 pm, Sky Sports

Thursday, June 25 – Chelsea vs Manchester City – 8.15 pm, Sky Sports

Sunday, June 28 – Leicester vs Chelsea – 2.30 pm, BT Sport

Wednesday, July 1 – West Ham vs Chelsea – 8.15 pm, Sky Sports
