Chelsea supporters on social media felt Andreas Christensen had been robbed in the latest batch of FIFA 22 player ratings.
Thomas Tuchel’s squad learned the value of their virtual selves yesterday, with some probably left feeling bemused by their score.
N’Golo Kante and Romelu Lukaku ranked highest with 90 and 88 respectively, followed by Jorginho and Thiago Silva on 85 each.
German duo Timo Werner and Kai Havertz came in the chasing pack, both boasting 84 overall.
Way down the pecking order was Christensen, who only received an 80 grade, despite playing a major role in Tuchel’s defensive overhaul.
This was to the dismay of Blues fans, who couldn’t fathom why their Danish prince hadn’t been valued higher.
Here’s how they reacted on Twitter:
Christensen’s rating just makes me laugh.

FIFA failure
Of course, FIFA ranking have very little reflection on a player’s abilities in real life.
If that was the case, Christensen would be near the summit of the mountain, based on last and this season’s performances.
The defender has rarely put a foot wrong since stepping in for Silva earlier this year and cementing his place in the side.
He has featured 23 times under Tuchel to date; only once has he been a loser under Tuchel.

In those 23 games, Chelsea have conceded just 10 goals.
Does Christensen need any more credit?
How about his displays for the Denmark national team?
A European Championship semi-final nonetheless and supplier of one of the tournament’s finest goals.
It’s been a project in the making, but the centre-back has truly entered into his prime, whether FIFA agrees or not.
