Chelsea target Luis Enrique has already started working more on his English speaking, according to reports.
Luis Enrique, 52, is a high-profile manager currently linked with the vacant Chelsea job at Stamford Bridge.
He’s been out of work since leaving the Spanish national team last year, but he coached one of the great Barcelona sides earlier in his career.
The Independent claimed this morning that Enrique was flying into London for more talks with Chelsea about succeeding Graham Potter.
Journalist Ben Jacobs now adds that the Spaniard is really impressing the Blues hierarchy. He’s even started working on his English since links to Chelsea in the past, too.
Jacobs wrote on Twitter: “Chelsea really impressed by initial conversations and have considered Enrique in the past. Enrique has been working on his English. Julian Nagelsmann remains the other leading candidate.”

If you check out Enrique’s CV, Chelsea’s fans should be excited about the prospect of welcoming an attack-minded boss with ideas around vertical football.
It’s interesting to hear he’s been working on his English as well.
There is a fantastic mix of so many different nations within the Blues dressing room, but we think an English speaking boss might find it easier adapting to the Premier League and getting his vision across to everyone.

Julian Nagelsmann is another name that seems popular in the rumour mill right now.
Like Enrique, he’s available right now after leaving Bayern Munich last month.
He’s a very young coach at the age of 35, but still has top experience at Hoffenheim, Leipzig and Bayern during his exciting managerial career.
The Times claims that Nagelsmann wants to know what kind of authority he would get at Chelsea before agreeing any kind of move. He’s in the mix and currently talking, though.
