Kai Havertz said he has started to adapt to his new life alongside well-mixed Chelsea teammates despite early challenges.
It’s fair to say the 21-year-old’s arrival has revolutionised Chelsea.
To fit him in his favourite No.10 position, Frank Lampard has specifically reshaped the system, indicating the manager’s project to build the team around him.
And it seems that Havertz himself believes that Chelsea have the ideal squad composition for the project.

Asked about the Chelsea teammates in today’s press conference ahead of Germany’s friendly match against Turkey, Havertz told the media (via Sport1): “I cannot explicitly name a player. The quality is very high.
“We have players who have won a lot of titles, as well as hungry players.
“We have a very good mix. I can only say that we are very well positioned.”

The start of his Premier League career was not exactly a walk in the park, however.
“It’s very different from Germany,” he added.
“I didn’t have any preparation and it’s a completely different league. The games are very exhausting.
“It was a very big step to leave my environment, it takes a while to acclimatize.
“The last few games were pretty good for me, the hat trick was good for me.
“But there is still room for improvement for me.”

Germany boss Joachim Low has confirmed Havertz will start against Turkey, which is fair, given the versatile midfielder missed Germany’s last two games in order to complete his Chelsea transfer.
Antonio Rudiger could also be in contention for the game, but Timo Werner has been ruled out after having flu-like symptoms upon arrival.
The former RB Leipzig striker has taken several coronavirus tests, although he has not received the results yet.
