Jordan Pickford revealed that Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount gave him some hairstyle tips ahead of the European Championships.
Speaking on the England Twitter page, Pickford pointed out the new hair doo he was sporting for this summer’s international tournament.
In the past few months, Everton’s goalkeeper has transitioned from a regular army trim to something along the Only Way is Essex trail.
And the 27-year-old shot stopper gave Mount the credit for his new look.
Pickford said: “Mace was telling me to get a slick back, so I thought I’ll just let it grow and see what happens.
“I felt like I’ll keep it. It’s better than a short back and sides.”
Fingers crossed Mount didn’t give Foden any advice on his latest barnet.
Manchester City’s talented forward chose to resemble Paul Gascoigne’s golden locks from Euro 1996.
Foden promised that if England won the competition, every member of Gareth Southgate’s would have to get an identical bleached cut.
The only other drastic cranium change is that undertaken by Reece James.
Recognised for his blonde dreadlocks, Chelsea’s right-back opted for a min-afro for the Champions League final, with his yellow tips still in tack.
However, for the Euros, he went with his natural darker colour all over, waving goodbye to the famous sun-kissed ends.
It’s not quite David Beckham’s standard of switching styles every few months, but it’s enough to get us talking!
