Chelsea duo Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech who were absent in Sunday’s win over Aston Villa are now back in training, along with several academy stars, ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Brighton.
Havertz and Ziyech both missed out on the action at the weekend but are now likely back in contention to play against Brighton.
N’Golo Kante, who sustained a knee injury during the game, is also seen back in Chelsea training — which is fantastic news.
Thomas Tuchel has also invited several academy stars to train with the first team. The list includes Jude Soonsup-Bell, Harvey Vale, and Xavier Simons who all made their first-team debuts in the League Cup win over Brentford last week.

Unfortunately, it remains unclear whether Thiago Silva will be available for the match at Stamford Bridge.
Although, Tuchel might want to rest the defender regardless of his injury update given Silva’s recent workload.
The same could apply to Kante who, according to Tuchel, was in a lot of pain in the same spot as his previous knee injury.
Among the academy stars, Vale arguably deserves some minutes after such a positive senior debut last week.
