Chelsea have confirmed that Andreas Christensen and Trevoh Chalobah have returned to full training ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup fourth-round clash against Plymouth Argyle.
The defensive pair returned to full training after missing quite a few games in January due to injuries and Covid-19 absence.
Thomas Tuchel previously gave the players a week off following hectic fixtures in December and January.
It seems to be very helpful as the players were all smiles during the training sessions.
Among those who trained are Mason Mount and Jorginho who spent time together in the United States.
Kenedy, the latest addition to Tuchel’s squad, also took part in training.
However, there are still several players missing from the group.
Obviously, Ben Chilwell, who is out for the remainder of the season, is one of them, as well as Reece James who is still nursing a hamstring injury. Although, James is expected to return very soon.
Meanwhile, three players; Edouard Mendy, Thiago Silva, and Christian Pulisic are still on international duty with Senegal, Brazil, and the United States, respectively.
The Blues will host League One side Plymouth at the weekend before flying out to Abu Dhabi for the Club World Cup.
