Chelsea stars Olivier Giroud and Christian Pulisic have been nominated for the July Premier League Player of The Month award.
The pair have arguably been Chelsea’s best performers since the Premier League restart at the end of last month.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has opted for Giroud as his first-choice striker ahead of the club’s top scorer Tammy Abraham lately, and it has paid off.
The France international netted six times from the eight games he has played in July, with five of those in the Premier League.
Pulisic has also been in red-hot form since recovering from his injury during the lockdown period.
In July, the American has bagged two goals and two assists, including a goal and an assist in his incredible cameo against Liverpool at Anfield, despite the loss.
Unfortunately, no Chelsea player has won the monthly award this season, this is the last chance for any Chelsea player to win it.
The Chelsea pair are competing with five other in-form stars for the award; West Ham’s Michail Antonio, Manchester United’s Anthony Martial, Burnley’s Nick Pope, Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling.
