Reports have claimed that Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti could still be named the new Chelsea manager.
According to the Evening Standard, the 64-year-old is one of the names still being considered to become the new boss at the end of the season.
Numerous candidates have been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge, with a permanent appointment not likely to be made until this campaign comes to an end.

Until then though, Frank Lampard has been named as the interim boss until the end of the campaign, with results certainly not going his way so far.
It has been four defeats in his first four games back at the club, and these have included the Champions League quarter-finals against Real Madrid.
Spalletti could still get Chelsea job
This has left the mood around Stamford Bridge at an all-time low, and a new manager needs to be announced as soon as possible in order to bring some of the good feeling back to West London.
Julian Nagelsmann has been courted as the number one candidate for the job after he was sacked a few weeks’ ago by Bayern Munich.
He is seemingly waiting for the end of the season to return to management, which could coincide with the decision to bring back Lampard this season.

However, a number of other names remain on the shortlist, with Spalletti certainly one of those.
He is currently enjoying a stellar season with Napoli, who sit top of the league powered by Chelsea target Victor Osimhen.
They were handed the setback this week of being dumped out of the Champions League by fellow Serie A side AC Milan, with them surely believing their run to the final opened up a great opportunity to do something magical.
