Tammy Abraham has claimed that Chelsea teammate Antonio Rudiger is someone he would hate to play against.
Abraham, 23, is a Blues centre-forward with 12 goals across all competitions this season, but right now he’s having to be patient on the fringes of Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
The English attacker has stated that Chelsea defender Rudiger is someone that would get under his skin if he played against him.
Germany international Rudiger, who has been important so far during the Tuchel reign, is renowned as being an aggressive no-nonsense warrior on the pitch.
The 28-year-old centre-back is dominant in the air, while one-on-one he’ll fancy himself against anyone with his strength and pace.
It’s also worth noting he’s an extremely big character that loves individual duels.
“Oh my gosh,” Abraham responded when the reporter described Rudiger as a wind-up merchant, as quoted by Soccer AM.
“He’s a great teammate, but I’d hate to play against him. I’d lose my head every time.”

It doesn’t seem to matter which defenders take to the pitch right now, Chelsea have a settled formation that works most of the time with three centre-backs used.
Tuchel has used various different combinations from centre-halves Rudiger, Kurt Zouma, Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva and Andreas Christensen.
They all have different strengths which must be superb for Tuchel, and Rudiger is someone that has come back into the fold to impress under the new manager.
When he’s not making individual errors, he’s proven he’s a top defender.
