Thiago Silva selected Chelsea great Eden Hazard when asked which ex-Blues star he would pick to be back at Stamford Bridge.

Silva, 36, is a senior Brazilian centre-back in the current Blues squad and is an important player within Frank Lampard’s XI.

He was asked in a hypothetical situation which former Chelsea player would he re-sign if he could bring back anyone.

“Hazard,” he emphatically responded.

Silva is a Paris Saint-Germain legend after spending most of his career with the French giants and he’s played alongside some world-class talents, both domestically and on the international stage.

Hazard certainly fits into the category of modern Chelsea great and he left the London club back in 2019 to join Real Madrid.

The 30-year-old attacker has had a difficult time in Spain, but his sensational spell in English football won’t be forgotten.

He is a majestic left-winger that scored 110 goals and managed 92 assists in 352 appearances for Chelsea.

If there was anybody that could inject an X-factor into the current Chelsea squad, then it would have to be the Belgian maestro.

It’s almost impossible shoes for anybody to try fill as his replacement at Chelsea, but upcoming talent Christian Pulisic is the current player with that kind of pressure on his shoulders to try replace Hazard.
