Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel looked astonished when N’Golo Kante scored a brilliant solo goal in their 3-0 win over Leicester City on Saturday.
It was a rather comfortable afternoon at King Power Stadium for the Blues in the end.
Chelsea could have even had five, six goals if it was not for their being unfortunate with some marginal offside calls.
Antonio Rudiger opened the scoring from a set-piece situation after just 14 minutes, but it was Kante’s goal that signifies Chelsea’s dominance in the game.
The France international drove with the ball before catching Kasper Schmeichel by surprise with a nicely-placed shot from the edge of the box.
Based on his reaction, it is safe to say even Tuchel did not expect Kante to produce that.
Christian Pulisic eventually put the game to bed after linking up with Hakim Ziyech in the second half in less than five minutes after coming off the bench.
