Thomas Tuchel has said that upcoming Chelsea talent Tino Anjorin is a player that scores and assists a lot in training.
Anjorin, 19, has missed a section of this summer’s pre-season due to illness. However, he enjoyed a cameo display from the bench in Wednesday’s 2-2 draw in the friendly match against Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.
The attacking midfielder is someone who spent last season around the first-team scene, especially in training sessions. He only made three senior appearances during the 2020/21 campaign, but may be a star in the making.
It’s going to be interesting to see what the future holds for him in the new season.
The English playmaker has never been on a loan spell before and right now there is no indication of where he’ll be based.
Chelsea boss Tuchel certainly thinks a lot of the teenager by giving him high praise yesterday:
“He’s confident, he’s strong, he’s creative. He scores a lot of goals and assists a lot of goals in training,” Tuchel said.
A first loan for Tino Anjorin?
There are no rumours linking Anjorin with a loan, however, it could make sense.
He’s a talented attacker that already looks quite filled out physically as a 19-year-old. Also, he’s brave on the ball and eager to impress whenever he steps onto the football pitch.
It’s going to be difficult for him to get much game time in either the midfield or attack right now, so he should be asked if he would like a temporary exit from the Bridge.
Tuchel confirms he looks the part in training, which is why fans are desperate to see more of him.
