Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was almost left in disbelief after Christian Pulisic’s big miss in Thursday’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City.
The Blues’ poor run at home continues despite once again dominating the game.
Defensively, they were quite solid despite James Maddison’s opener. It was Leicester City’s only shot on target throughout the game, and it was simply a superb strike.
On the other end of the pitch, however, the forwards failed to deliver. It was Reece James who set up his fellow wing-back Marcos Alonso to level the score.
It was one of the three big chances that Chelsea created in the game. Pulisic and Kai Havertz missed the other two, respectively.

“It’s more than a chance,” the German told BBC Sport when asked about Pulisic’s miss.
“It [should have been] a ‘goal’ actually.
“In matches like this, you have to take these chances, otherwise you maybe let your opponents take the point, and you don’t get what you deserve.
“It’s like a broken record. It happens too often to us.”

That was not the only problem with the American’s performance in this game, though, as he also failed to create any goalscoring chances.
Brendan Rodgers’ men deserve some credit for their stubborn defence, but Chelsea forwards’ inconsistent form only helped the visitors.
On a more positive note, Chelsea had already secured a top-four finish even before the game, and the draw practically solidifies their third spot.
