Borussia Dortmund look set to sign at least two players from Chelsea between now and the end of the transfer window.

The Chelsea Chronicle understands that both Carney Chukwuemeka and Aaron Anselmino have agreed to join Dortmund.

Chukwuemeka is not in Chelsea‘s plans, while Anselmino is at the bottom of the team’s centre-back pecking order.

Dortmund also appear to have interest in another Chelsea player, but he will not be joining them this summer.

Chelsea won’t let Trevoh Chalobah join Borussia Dortmund

Trevoh Chalobah has been linked with a few clubs ahead of deadline day, including Dortmund.

According to CaughtOffside, Dortmund are interested in signing the central defender from Chelsea as they look to strengthen their backline.

It has been claimed that Crystal Palace are also keen on Chalobah, viewing him as an ideal replacement for Marc Guehi. However, at this stage of the transfer window, there is no chance of the Club World Cup winners allowing him to join Dortmund, Palace or anyone else.

Chelsea have already been weakened in the centre-half position following Levi Colwill’s ACL injury, while Chalobah is making a huge impact in the team right now.

He helped the Blues to keep a clean sheet in their 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace last weekend and was excellent in their 5-1 win against West Ham United on Friday.

Chalobah managed to get his name on the scoresheet on the night, but his overall performance was solid.

Trevoh Chalobah was terrific against West Ham

Chalobah and the rest of Chelsea’s defence had a shaky start to the match, but the 26-year-old really grew into the game. And once he and centre-back partner Tosin Adarabioyo settled, West Ham could not really get anywhere near Robert Sanchez’s goal.

In total, Chalobah made two tackles at the London Stadium, while the England international was not dribbled past once. He also won two aerial duels.

Claude Makelele recently spoke about Chalobah, claiming that he is proof that Chelsea’s loan system is working.

The Blues academy graduate spent the first half of last season out on loan at Palace before being recalled in January. Since then, Chalobah has become an important member of Enzo Maresca‘s first-team squad, which is why he will not be allowed to join Dortmund.
