Chelsea linked with £25m star that can be everything Blues fans want from Loftus-Cheek - TCC View

Chelsea links have seen them mentioned as a possible suitor for Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham, who would be an amazing signing for any team in the Premier League.

According to Goal, the Blues have a long-term plan to try bring him to Stamford Bridge.

The English teenager only moved to German giants Dortmund last summer for £25million, but his reputation has soared in the space of a year.

He’s part of the England squad at this summer’s Euro 2020. In addition, he came off the bench to feature in a win over Croatia in the group stages.

Bellingham looks the complete package as a well balanced central midfielder.

Firstly, he’s capable of driving forward and providing a goal threat when he joins in with attacks. Secondly, he’s got remarkable physique for a 17-year-old, so he’s a presence in the centre of the park. It’s frightening to think what he’ll be looking in a few years time. Finally, he shown he can drop deeper to the base of the Dortmund midfield.

Jude Bellingham can be what Chelsea fans want from Ruben Loftus-Cheek

If you think of Loftus-Cheek as a youngster, there are plenty of similarities with Bellingham.

25-year-old Loftus-Cheek is returning to the Blues this summer after a disappointing loan with Fulham, but he was once tipped to be the future of the Chelsea midfield.

The club’s academy graduate has got an equal presence about him on the pitch.

He showed in the early stages of his career to play all midfield positions. The season under Maurizio Sarri was the standout one from him in a Chelsea shirt.

However, it seems a long road back for him to make it at Stamford Bridge.

Perhaps Bellingham can be everything Chelsea fans wanted from Loftus-Cheek.

A powerhouse central midfielder that is great in all aspect.
