Chelsea should go all out to sign Premier League winger in January after ‘magic’ moment which sent Jamie Carragher crazy

Chelsea are beginning to run out of time if they want to complete any incomings during the January Transfer Window.

The Blues have so far only recalled Trevoh Chalobah from his loan deal at Crystal Palace, with him in line for minutes as soon as tonight at Stamford Bridge.

However, Enzo Maresca will have been hoping for more in the transfer window as they look to recover the form that has seemed to desert them of late.

One position where the boss will be hoping is strengthened is the left side of his attack, with Mykhailo Mudryk remaining unavailable for selection.

Chelsea should go all out to sign Iliman Ndiaye

Despite links to a number of different options, the Blues received the biggest indicator yesterday that Iliman Ndiaye could be the best option they could go for this month.

The Everton winger has now moved on to five goals this season in a side who have been struggling immensely in the Premier League.

That figure is higher than the majority of wide players at Stamford Bridge, who have at times struggled to step up to support Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson.

The quality of the 24-year-old was summed up by his goal in the Premier League victory over Tottenham yesterday, with him driving at the Spurs defence before smashing home the finish.

Jamie Carragher wowed by ‘magic’ Iliman Ndiaye

Sky Sports commentator Seb Hutchinson described the goal as ‘magic’, while Jamie Carragher couldn’t help but show his amazement in the immediate aftermath of the strike.

It is obviously unlikely that Everton are going to be willing to sell one of their better players when they are trying to secure their status as a Premier League club, although Chelsea have the funds to make a deal like this possible.

As for tonight against Wolves, it is likely that Jadon Sancho continues his run starting on the left of attack in favour of the up and coming Tyrique George, who has been promoted to the first team in recent weeks.
