Chelsea have been disappointing lately, but they still have enough firepower to beat David Moyes’ Everton side on Saturday.
Although the likes of Joao Pedro and Alejandro Garnacho could not prevent Chelsea from losing to Atalanta earlier this week, they are still quality attackers.
Cole Palmer will also be available after being rested on Tuesday, so he is another brilliant offensive player Enzo Maresca can call upon.
Chelsea’s stunning home record vs Everton 🔥
What does Enzo Maresca need to do to keep this record intact? 🤔
Moyes should be worried about him, as well as Garnacho, Pedro and Chelsea’s other attackers.

Alejandro Garnacho’s impressive record against Everton
Palmer is Chelsea’s best forward player, but Garnacho could prove to be more of a threat.
In five games versus the Toffees, the winger has been directly involved in four goals. He is also yet to lose against Everton.
| Alejandro Garnacho’s record vs Everton | Total |
| Games | 5 |
| Wins | 4 |
| Draws | 1 |
| Losses | 0 |
| Goals | 1 |
| Assists | 3 |
Garnacho also scored one of the best goals the Premier League has ever seen during Manchester United’s 3-0 victory over the Merseyside club in the 2023/24 season.
That day, the 21-year-old managed to put the ball past Jordan Pickford with an incredible bicycle kick.
Has a Chelsea player ever scored a better goal than this?
Chelsea need a moment of brilliance like that this weekend, as they have been so uninspiring during their bad run of form.
Whether it is Garnacho, Palmer or another attacker, someone really needs to step up when Moyes’ side make the trip to Stamford Bridge.

What Enzo Maresca wants from Alejandro Garnacho on the pitch
Garnacho has the ability to be the danger man against Everton and his track record shows that. However, Maresca will also expect the Argentina international to do his fair share of defending.
When Garnacho spoke about what Maresca demands from him earlier this week, he said: “I know I have to defend if I want to play, the manager told me it was like this.”
His primary task on Saturday, though, will be to run at Everton defenders and create chances for his Chelsea teammates. He is someone Moyes should fear going into the game.
As for Maresca, he has to find a way to stop Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye, who have been excellent for the Toffees this season.
