Chelsea’s unbeaten run at home to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League is over, following a disappointing 3-1 defeat to their city rivals on Sunday. Alvaro Morata headed the Blues into the lead after half an hour, before Christian Eriksen equalised with a sublime long-range effort. Dele Alli scored twice in the second half for Mauricio Pochettino’s side to give them their first victory at Stamford Bridge in the league since 1990. Following the defeat to, we take a look at how the Chelsea players rated:
Willy Caballero – 5
Stepped in for the injured Thibaut Courtois, and should’ve done better with Eriksen opener. He saved well from Son, before disappointingly conceding twice to Alli.
Cesar Azpilicueta – 5
Tried to inspire his side, but nothing did the job. He made a few good passes forward, but the defence as a whole were poor.
Andreas Christensen – 5
Kept Son quiet for the majority of the game, but it was the quickfire double in the second half that let down the back three.
Antonio Rudiger – 5
Made a great run forward and pass to Moses in the build up to the opening goal, but was part of the defensive collapse.
Victor Moses – 5
Provided a great cross for Morata to head in the first goal, but was otherwise poor in possession. Gave away the ball for Eriksen’s equaliser.
N’Golo Kante – 7
The only Chelsea player that gave his all for the entirety of the game. In the second half, he tried to change the game, but the rest of the side failed to help him out.
Cesc Fabregas – 5
Didn’t provide the spark or the final pass of which we’re used to seeing from Fabregas. Disappointing showing from the Spaniard.
Marcos Alonso – 5
Had a goal ruled out for offside, and had a few efforts just off target. Not a bad showing from Alonso, but could’ve done more.
Willian – 5
He’s been Chelsea’s in-form man in recent weeks, but he couldn’t help the team this weekend, as he seemed to be absent from the game.
Alvaro Morata – 6
Headed Chelsea into the lead after an error from Lloris, but was limited in the second half after Tottenham dominated.
Eden Hazard – 5
Often found deep to get the ball, and made a few good runs forward. But wasn’t anywhere near his usual best.

A late substitute by Antonio Conte. He should’ve been on a lot sooner.
