Chelsea earned a point at Anfield, as Willian struck five minutes from time. The Blues remain in the top four following this result, and end a run of three consecutive away games in all competitions. A troublesome flight home from Baku during the week meant Chelsea had a tough fixture to Liverpool, but earned a credible draw. The Blues had to come from behind, as Mohamed Salah’s opener had put the Reds in front. Here is who impressed at Anfield on Saturday:

3. Danny Drinkwater

A surprise starter at Anfield, but Danny Drinkwater looked calm and assured on his first Premier League start for Chelsea. Since making the £35 million move from Leicester on Deadline Day, the 27-year-old has struggled with injuries, and has appeared mostly from the bench. Replacing Cesc Fabregas in the starting line-up, Drinkwater was very impressive in central midfield alongside N’Golo Kante and Tiemoue Bakayoko.

2. Eden Hazard

A terrific performance from the Belgian, that warranted a goal, but unfortunately he could not find one. The Liverpool defence must’ve been sick and tired over the amount of runs and dribbles Hazard made during the game. He continued his impressive link-up play with Alvaro Morata, but either of them could find a goal.  More to come from the Belgian as Chelsea host Swansea in midweek.

1. Willian

Chelsea’s saviour, as his chip earned the Blues a point. After scoring twice in midweek against Qarabag in the Champions League, he continued his goalscoring exploits with a goal five minutes from time. He might not have meant to score his goal, but Chelsea fans won’t care. His performances will no doubt give Antonio Conte something to think about, as the Brazilian continues his fine form in front of goal. Despite playing only a few minutes at Anfield, Willian is Chelsea’s man of the match.
