The year 2024 has been a positive one for Chelsea, especially compared to 2023.
Though they did miss out on Champions League qualification in the end, Chelsea finished last season strongly under Mauricio Pochettino and have done well this term under Enzo Maresca.
Across the second half of the last campaign and the current one, Chelsea have scored some terrific goals at Stamford Bridge and away from west London.
With that in mind, The Chelsea Chronicle has ranked the club’s top five goals in 2024.

5. Jadon Sancho vs Tottenham Hotspur
Honestly, it feels like Jadon Sancho‘s strike against Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month has not got the plaudits it deserves.
That is likely because Chelsea were 2-0 down before he fired past Fraser Forster, but it was a fantastic goal nevertheless as the winger cut in from the left flank and rifled the ball from outside the box into the bottom corner.

4. Enzo Fernandez vs Aston Villa
Enzo Fernandez is not renowned for scoring goals. However, that did not stop the midfielder from stepping up to take a free-kick in an FA Cup game against Aston Villa in February.
From about 25 yards out, Fernandez managed to beat compatriot Emiliano Martinez with a sublime hit.
3. Cole Palmer vs Everton
Cole Palmer has scored some truly magnificent goals for Chelsea since joining the club from Manchester City. He could probably make up this entire list by himself!
The first of his goals to be included — there is definitely going to be another one that makes it — is his wonderful strike against Everton. That day, Palmer managed to net four times, but his first goal saw him destroy Jarrad Branthwaite, combine well with Nicolas Jackson and then curl one away into Jordan Pickford’s net.
2. Cole Palmer vs Manchester United
Perhaps not as glamorous as that Everton goal, but Palmer’s late winner against Manchester United in April has to be included.
It sent Stamford Bridge into absolute ecstasy. The scenes were amazing, with Pochettino not able to keep in his emotions.
1. Moises Caicedo vs Bournemouth
A goal from the halfway line, not much needs to be said about Moises Caicedo‘s incredible effort against Bournemouth in May.
It was so good that goal alone was probably worth his £115m transfer fee! OK, you would perhaps not go that far, but it was a really great goal.
