Chelsea have a very strong squad, and that has been proven this season by the way they have played under Enzo Maresca.
Their attack is particularly strong, with Enzo Maresca possessing the likes of Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson and Jadon Sancho.
However, if there is one area that the Chelsea manager should be concerned about then it is right-back.
Reece James has had to deal with more injury problems this season. James has not had to have surgery like in the previous campaign, but things have not been great for him. Ultimately, it could be time for Chelsea to sign a new right-back.

Chelsea should make move for Jeremie Frimpong
With the January transfer window only around the corner, Chelsea will soon have the chance to strengthen in the right-back position.
In terms of potential candidates, Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong would be a great name to consider.
The 24-year-old has been a revelation for Leverkusen, especially going forward. For example, last season, he came up with nine goals and seven assists in 31 league appearances as Xabi Alonso’s men went on to win the Bundesliga title undefeated.
Of course, Frimpong played as a wing-back. If he joined Chelsea, there would be question marks about his defensive ability, while his height will also be a concern. Frimpong currently stands at 5’8″.
On top of that, playing as a wing-back now, he would have to adapt to being an inverted full-back at Stamford Bridge.
Right now, though, there are not too many amazing right-backs in the game. And given James’ injury record, Chelsea may have to sign a new one at some point. It has already been claimed that Chelsea are looking at Frimpong.
What has Xabi Alonso said about Jeremie Frimpong?
Chances are Leverkusen will not sell Frimpong in the middle of the season. He is one of their star players.
The Dutchman is so valuable to Alonso. Speaking about Frimpong a couple of years ago, with his words being shared by Get German Football News, the Leverkusen manager said: “He has a very big impact on our game. He is a very good player, but for me is even a special player.”
Chelsea are not afraid to do something crazy in January, though, as they showed when they signed Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for over £100m.
That is not the kind of money that they should be spending on a right-back. But if the club are starting to think about life without James, then Frimpong should also be on their mind.
