New Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has an embarrassment of riches available to him as far as midfield talents go for next season.
Conor Gallagher looks all set for his move to Atletico Madrid, however there is still a lot of talent the Italian needs to get the best out of this season.
Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo are always going to be two players pushing for starts, with them both brought in for club-record fees when they were signed.

The World Cup winner in particular left many last season believing they could see more than what Mauricio Pochettino was getting out of him.
The position he was picking up on the pitch was highlighted as a concern. He was playing in a far more advanced role than many thought he should be.
Enzo Maresca has perfect plan for Enzo Fernandez
Based on what Maresca has just said about Fernandez, it looks as if the new boss has a plan in place that can help get the best out of him again.
He said: “He was playing attacking midfielder [against Manchester City]. In some moments he had to go wide to recieve the ball and create space for his team-mates. But, we are not thinking to use Enzo in this position [for the future].”
Romeo Lavia impresses in pre-season
There are a number of other candidates for minutes in the middle of the park too. Romeo Lavia has already played way more games this summer than he managed in the entire last season.
They have been joined by new signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who has the advantage of working under Maresca last season at Leicester City.
There is a good chance the Englishman starts when the campaign gets underway next weekend, and the fact he has experience playing in the system the Italian is looking to bring to West London, which could be crucial in the opening weeks.
