Joao Pedro and Estevao Willian were both able to make an impact in Chelsea’s 3-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

Pedro scored Chelsea’s second goal after Estevao’s delivery, which Wolves failed to deal with.

Wolves interim manager James Collins felt that Chelsea counter attacked “brilliantly” as the likes of Pedro, Estevao and Alejandro Garnacho ran riot in the second half.

One of those players has since received plenty of praise for his display at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea fans sang Estevao Willian’s name after Joao Pedro’s goal

Following the full-time whistle, Enzo Maresca and others lauded Estevao, but the winger was also shown a lot of love during the game.

In fact, despite Pedro being the man to grab Chelsea’s second goal, it was Estevao’s name being sung by the home supporters shortly afterwards, according to Sky Sports.

You could not blame Pedro for feeling a little bit jealous; other perhaps would have. But Estevao is his compatriot and the two get along well, while the most important thing is that the Blues were able to get the job done.

It is something that they failed to do midweek after drawing 2-2 with Qarabag in the Champions League.

After that match, Pedro had a warning for his teammates, telling them that they need to concentrate throughout the whole 90 minutes of a fixture.

How Enzo Maresca can get Joao Pedro and Estevao Willian in the same team

Football fans want to see more of Estevao, who has only made four starts in the Premier League this season.

Pedro Neto is blocking Estevao’s pathway into the Chelsea team, according to former Wolves boss Gary O’Neil.

However, with Cole Palmer still out injured, there is no reason why Maresca cannot experiment with the 18-year-old in the No.10 position while pushing Pedro up front.

That is one way to get the former Palmeiras star into the side if he does not want to drop Neto.

At this stage, it does not really matter where. Maresca just needs to get Estevao on the pitch because the Brazil international is really influencing games in such a positive way for Chelsea right now.
