After Chelsea’s penalty shoot-out defeat to Arsenal in Dublin, Maurizio Sarri expressed he is ‘not happy’ with the situation after Willian reported back five days late for pre-season training.
Malcolm’s arrival at Barcelona may well end the Catalans’ interest in Willian, but others remain keen.
Real Madrid has recently been linked while Manchester United are desperate for new arrivals and Jose Mourinho likes Willian a lot.
The Blues reportedly rejected £65m from Barcelona for Willian earlier this summer, but should accept a similar offer should it come before the end of the window.
Crystal Palace’s asking price for Wilfried Zaha is apparently £70m. Getting Zaha in place of Willian for a net spend of around £5m would be great business.
Zaha is arguably the best player outside the top six, there is plenty more to come from him, as he is four years younger than Willian.

Zaha is the answer
Sarri has been brought to Chelsea to introduce the attacking style Roman Abramovich has craved.
Now he has the opportunity to offload an unsettled, ageing player who has never established himself as a regular.
In return, he could land one of the most exciting division’s players which would give his overhaul an energy injection.
The Blues reportedly have an interest in Zaha. Although a bid of £30m plus Danny Drinkwater is likely to do little more than anger Palace.
Selling Willian to raise funds – and create a spot in the squad for Zaha – is a much more sensible approach.
Eden Hazard reportedly wanted to see who would come in before committing his future and the prospect of linking up with Zaha may just convince him to snub Real Madrid’s advances.
Willian out, Zaha in – it just makes perfect sense.
