Some Chelsea fans react to N'Golo Kante performance against Malmo

‘Cheat code’: Some Chelsea fans amazed by player’s display in 4-0 Malmo victory

Chelsea cruised to a 4-0 victory against Swedish opponent Malmo on Wednesday night – and some Blues fans on Twitter were blown away by the performance of their star N’Golo Kante.

Thomas Tuchel’s side picked up three points in their Champions League group stage match by comprehensively beating Malmo at Stamford Bridge.

First of all, Andreas Christensen scored his first ever Chelsea goal by firing in a volley inside the opening 10 minutes. Jorginho converted a penalty soon after to give the hosts a two-goal lead at half time.

Blues substitute Kai Havertz made it three with a chipped finish early in the second period before Jorginho wrapped up the scoring with his second penalty of the match.

Unfortunately, attacking duo Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner were both forced off with injuries during the opening 45 minutes. That was the only negative on an encouraging midweek fixture that got the team’s European campaign back on track.

Injuries a huge concern

Despite the fact Chelsea’s squad is stacked with talent, it’s a massive worry that Lukaku and Werner both limped off early on. It’s going to be an anxious wait to hear the outcome of their respective injuries.

Kai Havertz will be the biggest winner during these next few weeks if both are set for a spell on the sidelines. Likewise, it opens the door for the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech in the offensive positions.

Some Chelsea fans hail Kante clinic

A selection of Chelsea fans on social media believe Kante was weaving his magic against Malmo.

Blues manager Tuchel recently admitted the October international break was a positive in the sense that it allowed Kante more time to recover from an ankle problem.

The 30-year-old midfielder has had a stop-start 2021/22 campaign, but everyone knows he’s a world-class operator. He was too quick for Malmo with his energy across the pitch and showed some great moments with the ball at his feet, too.

Chelsea are a totally different proposition when they’ve got a fully fit Kante bossing the midfield.

Here are some Blues fans hailing Kante:
