'Things I love to see': Some Chelsea fans react to Tuesday news they're hearing about their two players

Chelsea have confirmed today a positive injury update about two of their first-team players – and some Blues fans on Twitter are overjoyed with the news.

Chelsea announced on Tuesday that both N’Golo Kante and Trevoh Chalobah are back in “full training” after their respective injury problems. Apparently, they “could” come into contention to play in Thursday’s Premier League fixture at home to Everton.

First of all, 30-year-old Frenchman Kante is back training with the Blues squad after his knee injury. Thomas Tuchel’s side have looked extremely vulnerable in defence without their all-action midfielder ahead of them, so the timing of his return is perfect.

In addition, Chalobah’s absence with a hamstring issue has been noticeable. The 22-year-old centre-back has barely put a foot wrong since a breakthrough into the senior squad this season, which is why his comeback is great news for the back three.

Chelsea fans buzzing

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media believe Tuesday’s news is colossal.

Of course, Kante’s imminent comeback is brilliant for the entire group. Tuchel has been short of options in the centre of the park right now, which has placed big pressure on Jorginho and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Kante’s return is going to give the midfield a huge lift, though.

Chalobah brings the kind of pace, energy and aggression in defence that has made him a fan favourite, too. The young English talent will be very useful during the busy fixture schedule. It’s obvious that he’s picking up so much by learning from experienced heads like Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger.
