Journalist Simon Phillips has told GiveMeSport that Graham Potter will have N’golo Kante back available at Chelsea within the next couple of weeks.
The new manager has been unable to select the 31-year-old since he took the reins at Stamford Bridge.
The Frenchman picked up an injury in the second league game of the season against Tottenham, a match he was completely dominating in midfield.

He has not been available since, despite being originally ruled out near enough half a year ago.
His injury was the first big one in what has been a plethora of issues for the club, with midfield one of the roles particularly affected.
Denis Zakaria and Mateo Kovacic are currently missing as well as Kante, with Potter being forced to get creative at times when coming up with a winning midfield.
Kante back from injury next week
Ruben Loftus-Cheek was thrown in for the game against West Ham at the weekend, as the auditions to become the long-term partner to Enzo Fernandez continue.
Now, Phillips has claimed that he could have Kante as an option for the rest of the season very soon.
He said: “The last I heard on Kante, I was told he’d be back mid to end of February.

“So I guess we’re kind of getting towards that now. So it does make sense. I think he’ll probably come back next week rather than this week.”
It looks as if the Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund is going to come too soon for Kante.
This will be a particular shame when taking into account just how imperious he has previously been in the competition, with his final few games of the run to winning it all in 2021 a huge part of why they became Champions of Europe for a second time.
