Chelsea youngster Bashir Humphreys has temporarily joined up with England’s senior squad to train with them.
That is according to well-respected journalist Henry Winter.
He reports on X today that Bashir Humphreys has been “temporarily drafted” from the Under-21s to the senior team for training.
In addition, Newcastle United youngster Lewis Hall has made the step up to train with England’s biggest stars.

Humphreys, who’s an exciting talent from the Chelsea academy, impressed during pre-season with Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team group.
The 20-year-old defender started last month in the Blues victory against AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup.
However, Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino allowed the young centre-back to join Championship club Swansea City on a season-long loan before the transfer cut-off point. Incidentally, he signed a new deal at Stamford Bridge before exiting on a temporary basis.

The Evening Standard previously reported that Pochettino was open to the idea of keeping Humpheys in his first-team squad at Chelsea this season.
He’ll now fight for regular minutes in the second division with Swansea, though. Our guess is he’ll be a massive hit in Wales, too!
It says a lot about the youngster’s potential that he’s been invited to train with England’s senior despite being part of the Under-21s camp over the international break.
It’s obvious that the talent that continues to keep coming out of Cobham is of the highest standard.
