Chelsea star Mason Mount has posted a message on social media wishing England good luck ahead of Tuesday night’s game against Czech Republic.

Mount, along with club teammate Ben Chilwell, is unavailable for England tonight.

The Three Lions confirmed on Tuesday that the two Blues stars are isolating away from Gareth Southgate’s main squad.

Both Mount and Chilwell came into “close contact” with Scotland’s and Chelsea’s Billy Gilmour on Friday, who tested positive for COVID-19.

Despite the fact Mount and Chilwell have returned negative tests, England have announced they will both isolate up to and including next Monday after consultation with Public Health England.

Meanwhile, Scotland will be without Gilmour against Croatia on Tuesday night after confirmation of his positive COVID-19 test.

He’ll now self-isolate for 10 days, but Scotland boss Steve Clarke said his symptoms are not serious.

Mount sends message ahead of England game tonight

Mount has broken his silence on Twitter to wish England good luck.

For England, it’s a massive blow not to have Mount available against Czech Republic. It’s a game they need to win to top the group. The Three Lions have work to do after their underwhelming draw with Scotland.

Mount is an ever-present in Southgate’s XI when available, so it’ll be interesting to see how his absence is dealt with.

Meanwhile, defender Chilwell has been unfortunate not to play yet at the Euros tournament.
