Chelsea loanee Levi Colwill played during Huddersfield Town’s comprehensive victory on Saturday – and some of their fans on Twitter were majorly impressed with his display.

Colwill, 18, is a massive talent that’s come through the academy system at Cobham.

The left-footed defender was sent out on loan this season by the Blues for his first spell of first-team football, joining Championship club Huddersfield for the entire year.

He played 90 minutes at the weekend for his side in a 4-0 home win against Reading.

Colwill, who’s being played as a left-sided centre-half in a back-three at Huddersfield, has quickly cemented his spot in their best XI. He’s played every minute of their opening five league matches in the Championship.

Colwill another Chelsea teenager to watch out for

A selection of Huddersfield supporters on social media believe they’ve got themselves a gem with the Chelsea loanee.

One even suggested the youngster is destined to play for England. This comes after he recently received a first call-up to join Lee Carsley’s England Under-21 squad.

Colwill was impressing last season in Chelsea’s Under-23s for a team that finished second in the Premier League 2 table.

If he enjoys a strong season in the Championship, it’ll be interesting to see how close he can get to Thomas Tuchel’s XI.

Trevoh Chalobah is a great example to him that Tuchel is prepared to bring youngsters into his group.
