Chelsea’s Under-18s side recorded an emphatic win at the weekend to highlight the quality that continues to come through at Cobham.
The Blues played West Brom on Saturday in an U18s Premier League fixture.
U18s head coach Hassan Sulaiman must have been left overjoyed after watching his youngsters secure a convincing 9-1 victory.
It means they’re up to third in their league, winning six times and drawing two from eight fixtures this season.

Young guns hit nine
There’s so many talking points from the U18s win, including hat-trick hero Shumaira Mheuka.
Mheuka, who’s aged just 16, scored a first-half hat-trick versus West Brom to continue his great run of form.
The teenage forward is now up to seven goals in nine games across all competitions this campaign.
Elsewhere, four more Chelsea teammates got in on the scoring act. Donnell McNeilly (two), Chinonso Chibueze (two), Harrison McMahon (one) and Frankie Runham (one) added their names to the scoresheet.
We’ve seen for over a decade now the incredible pool of talent that Chelsea produce. You can check current first-team stars such as Reece James and Conor Gallagher for examples of that.
Super Saturday
Chelsea’s first team also secured a win yesterday, albeit not quite in the same kind of style.
The Blues recorded a vital 2-0 home victory over Sheffield United in the Premier League to help them return to the top half of the table. Finally, they got a clean sheet and three points in the bag.
We’re pretty confident that we’ll continue to see Cobham talents in and around the senior group for many years to come.
