Chelsea and Brighton are currently doing battle in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge, and fans are all saying the same thing about Robert Sanchez.

Enzo Maresca won’t be happy with what he saw from his side defensively in the first-half at Stamford Bridge as a couple of errors from Robert Sanchez handed Brighton two goals.

The Blues have Cole Palmer to thank for his four goals in the first-half, which included a stunning free-kick, as Chelsea head into the half-time break 4-2 up.

Perhaps Fabian Hurzeler gave Sanchez the kiss of death prior to the game as he was talking about how great the Chelsea goalkeeper is.

Robert Sanchez handed Brighton the lead with his decision to rush out of his goal to try and challenge the opposition player, who simply just headed the ball into a pretty much empty net.

He then handed Brighton a second with a pass out from the back that went straight to Carlos Baleba, who coolly slotted underneath Sanchez and into the back of the net.

At half-time, the goalkeeper had a rating of 4.9, made three saves, had two errors that led to a goal, 30 touches, missed four passes and failed with five of his long balls.

For a player who said he’s feeling the fittest he’s been in two years, Sanchez’s decision-making certainly wasn’t at its best against Brighton.
