Chelsea are through to Sunday’s Club World Cup final after a 2-0 win against Fluminense.
The Blues secured a stylish victory against Brazilian club Fluminense on Tuesday night in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup.
Next, Enzo Maresca’s side will face either Paris Saint-Germain or Real Madrid in the final.
Without a doubt, Joao Pedro was the star of the show, scoring two wonderful goals on his first Chelsea start. However, Pedro didn’t celebrate against Fluminense after his goals because he started his career with them.
There were a number of impressive performances in Chelsea colours, including Pedro Neto.

Chelsea fans amazed by Pedro Neto display, claim he’s miles ahead of Noni Madueke
Chelsea supporters on social media thought Neto, 25, was a standout performer for them against Fluminense.
In fact, many Blues fans on X insisted he’s a lot better than teammate Noni Madueke, who came on as a late substitute amid transfer speculation about him possibly leaving Stamford Bridge.
One fan wrote: “Pedro Neto has left Noni Madueke behind.”
“Pedro Neto is the one actually sending Noni Madueke away,” another commented.
One supporter posted: “I’m beginning to think Noni Madueke is more afraid of Pedro Neto than Estavao Willian cause damn he’s been good.”
“Watching Neto and you understand why they are selling Madueke,” another said.
Neto, who played on the left wing during the semi-final victory, impressed yet again in the summer tournament.
| Minutes played | Total shots | Chances created | Accurate passes | Successful dribbles | Accurate crosses | Duels won | Duels lost | Match rating |
| 68 | 1 | 1 | 18/18 (100%) | 4/6 (67%) | 3/5 (60%) | 5 | 3 | 7.3 |
Blues head coach Maresca loves Neto’s versatility to play anywhere across the frontline. During the attacker’s debut season in West London, he’s looked dangerous on either the left or right wing. Incidentally, we still think he’s at his very best when he cuts infield from the right to his stronger left foot.

Chelsea may be able to cope without Noni Madueke
Even though he’s in the United States featuring in the Club World Cup, Madueke is linked with a move away in this window.
Reports state that Arsenal are in very positive talks to sign Madueke, and a deal may be even done by the end of this week. Therefore, have we just seen the 23-year-old wide man play his final game for the Blues?
The reality is Madueke has been an important player in Maresca’s squad for the 2024/25 campaign, but they could have some fresh new options for next term.
Along with Neto, Chelsea are adding Jamie Gittens and Estevao Willian as exciting wingers to their ranks. Academy graduate Tyrique George has been around the senior group in 2025, too.
