Liam Rosenior was given a very quick reminder of the task he has on his hands at Chelsea when he took charge of his first game at Stamford Bridge.

As the pre-match excitement from the Blues fans disappeared, it was the Arsenal supporters who could be heard in West London.
Journalist Simon Johnson shared that the away fans at Stamford Bridge didn’t take long to taunt Rosenior, hinting that Chelsea’s chop and change policy in the hotseat could be about to hit him too.
He said: “Arsenal fans are singing ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’ at Rosenior.”
After the Blues went 2-0 down, he added: “More ‘sacked in the morning’ chants from Arsenal fans to Rosenior.”

The comfortable nature of the win over Charlton is now a distant memory for Rosenior and co, as the reality of the job on his hands becomes clear to see.

Moises Caicedo was suspended, and will be available again at the weekend, while there is hope Cole Palmer and Reece James will return to face Brentford on Saturday.
Turning things around in the second leg at the Emirates is going to be a very difficult task, but one that would certainly get supporters on board with the new manager if they were able to pull it off.
