Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has come crashing down in the Premier League.
After a run of four consecutive wins under Rosenior, Chelsea have now drawn back-to-back games following Saturday’s match against Burnley.
It should have been a routine win for the Blues after Joao Pedro gave them the lead in just the fourth minute.

However, Wesley Fofana got sent off, Chelsea’s eighth red card of the season, before Zian Flemming equalised late in stoppage time to make it 1-1.

Chelsea closing in on Southampton’s record of 21 points dropped from winning position
Chelsea could now make history in the Premier League this season, but for the wrong reasons.
Following their 1-1 draw with Burnley, it means that the Club World Cup winners have now dropped 17 points from a winning position at Stamford Bridge in the current campaign.
Only Southampton have surrendered more points while leading at home in the Premier League. Back in the 2021/22 season, they dropped 21.

What does Liam Rosenior need to do to change this?
With it still being February, it is a number that Rosenior and his side could easily end up surpassing.
They will at least not have to worry about adding to it next weekend, with a trip to the Emirates awaiting them. Rosenior substituted James against Burnley with the Arsenal clash in mind.
How Chelsea can stop dropping points from winning position in the future
If Chelsea want to hold on to their leads, keeping 11 men on the pitch would certainly help. Their ill-discipline is not the only issue, though.
Chelsea are lacking a world-class, experienced centre-back who can help them see out a game and have been for a while now.
The Blues have some good defenders in their squad, but they never quite replaced Thiago Silva. Finally do that, and they should start to deal with danger towards the end of matches much better.
Unfortunately for them, there are not too many options lying about, though Antonio Rudiger could be one. The former Chelsea star is set to become a free agent at the end of the season.
