Chelsea player ratings vs Nottingham Forest

Robert Sanchez: 5/10

Couldn’t do much for any of Forest’s goals before being taken off because of a head injury.

Malo Gusto: 2/10

Gave a penalty away for a ridiculous pull in the box. The sooner Reece James returns the better.

Tosin Adarabioyo: 3/10

Wasn’t marking Taiwo Awoniyi or anyone else before the Forest striker’s goal. Nothing like his display against Leeds United in the FA Cup.

Trevoh Chalobah: 3/10

Like Adarabioyo, Trevoh Chalobah did not pick up anyone either before Forest’s opener.

Marc Cucurella: 1/10

Was beaten too easily for Forest’s opener. Done again prior to the cross that led to Forest’s penalty.

Moises Caicedo: 4/10

Couldn’t progress play with his forward passes going straight to a Forest player.

Romeo Lavia: 4/10

A bit negative with his passing in the first half, which resulted in some groans from the home supporters.

Cole Palmer: 3/10

Just not influencing games like how he used to, very worrying. It is the first thing Chelsea’s next permanent manager has to fix. Missed penalty sums up his form.

Enzo Fernandez: 5/10

Took a really good shot in the first 10 minutes that hit the post but faded as the game went on.

Jesse Derry: 6/10

Tried to be positive with his play despite the team’s struggles. Ran at defenders and got a couple of shots away in the first half but had to be taken off after a nasty collision.

Joao Pedro: 7/10

Was barely involved in the first 45 minutes but was very active after the restart. Had a goal disallowed for offside before scoring a brilliant bicycle kick.
