Christensen Contract

On Tuesday, Chelsea announced that Andreas Christensen had signed a new four and a half year deal with the club. The Dane has been highly impressive so far this season – he displaced David Luiz in the centre of the back three, and has made the position his own. The new deal will relieve any potential fears that Christensen could leave the club, with Barcelona reportedly interested in the defender.

Batshuayi Loan

Michy Batshuayi is set to head out on loan very soon – with Spanish side Sevilla looking his most likely destination. The Belgian has struggled for regular football this season, with Antonio Conte preferring Alvaro Morata up front. Batshuayi is said to be happy at Stamford Bridge, but a loan spell would improve his chances of a spot in Belgium’s World Cup squad. It is understood that the Blues would like to sign a replacement before agreeing to the loan, with Andy Carroll reportedly being lined up by the club.

Musonda Interest

Charly Musonda is being targeted by a number of Premier League teams, as they battle to sign him on loan. Bournemouth, Watford, Newcastle, and West Brom are all reportedly interested in signing the Belgian. He signed a new long term contract recently, and the club are willing to send him out on loan for regular first team football. The Belgian has only made two Premier League appearances this season, and Antonio Conte is willing to allow him to go out on loan for the remainder of the season.

Pellegrini Wanted

Chelsea are one of many European sides interested in Roma’s Luca Pellegrini. The Italian has a £21 million release clause in his contract, and has interested the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United, as well as the Blues. Roma are keen to keep Pellegrini at the club, amid the interest.
