Chelsea have a lot of talented attackers, and most of them were on show at Old Trafford earlier.

The Blues took on Manchester United, with Enzo Maresca fielding a forward line of Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson, Noni Madueke and Pedro Neto.

It is an attack with many strengths. Palmer and Jackson, for example, have shown this season that they are both capable of scoring goals.

However, Frank Lampard discussed one weakness that Madueke has after working with the winger.

Frank Lampard on Noni Madueke

Madueke actually came close to giving Chelsea the lead in the first half, hitting the post with a header.

And having managed Madueke during his second spell as Chelsea manager, Lampard shared that heading is not one of the 22-year-old’s strengths.

Speaking on Sky Sports at half-time, the Chelsea legend said: “I know Noni, I have worked with him. Heading is not one of his best attributes.”

United interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy is another man who has managed Madueke, with the two working with each other at PSV Eindhoven.

Noni Madueke disappointed against Manchester United

Madueke has been one of Chelsea’s best performers this season. The £29m England international has scored four goals in nine league appearances, which includes a hat-trick away at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

However, Madueke was not at his best at Old Trafford earlier and was taken off in the second half.

Going forward, Chelsea as a whole have to perform much better. In the end, it took an amazing strike from Moises Caicedo for the Blues to draw level and take a point back to Stamford Bridge.

Next Sunday, Maresca’s men face an even tougher task, as they welcome Arsenal to west London.

If they are to come out on top, then the likes of Madueke, Palmer and Jackson are going to have to be more effective.

At the back, Robert Sanchez also has to do much better after he made another costly mistake. The goalkeeper gave away a penalty, which Bruno Fernandes was able to convert.
