Chelsea’s belated appointment of Maurizio Sarri meant that their summer transfer business took longer to get going.

Yet, the arrivals of Kepa, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic mean it is still a good transfer window.

Thibaut Courtois’ protracted departure has finally completed. The foreign transfer market should not affect Eden Hazard and Willian; both men look reasonably settled on our Deadline Day.

Before the window closes, there are still deals that could be done. So what can Chelsea fans still expect to see? We’ve put together a morning round-up…

The arrivals of Kepa and Kovacic from La Liga mean that more incomings are slightly less likely today. However, there are two names that have been linked.

Football.London report Nabil Fekir could still come. He has been linked with a move from Lyon to Liverpool all summer long; although it remains a long shot.

The Star quote Dharmesh Sheth linking Chelsea with Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecin.

The Blues are already being well-stocked in central midfield; even more now Jorginho and Kovacic have signed. But that might be one to keep an eye on.

Departures are more likely to be the focus at Stamford Bridge today, as Sarri trims his squad at the 11th hour.

The Independent report that Leicester City wants Danny Drinkwater back at the King Power Stadium. Sarri’s desire to reshape his midfield in his style leaves the door open for that one to happen.

French outlet L’Equipe claim that Everton and Manchester United – who are both desperate for a central defender – want Kurt Zouma, who finds himself down the pecking order.

The Sun says that Tiemoue Bakayoko is in talks with Italian giants AC Milan over a loan move. Like Drinkwater, he only joined last summer but endured a nightmare debut season at Stamford Bridge and Jorginho, Kovacic and the return of Ruben Loftus-Cheek look set to make his starting opportunities limited.
