Trevoh Chalobah was full of praise for Chelsea teammate Estevao Willian after his fantastic performance against West Ham.

Chelsea thrashed London rivals West Ham on Monday night, winning 5-1 away from home to heap more misery on Graham Potter’s side.

There were plenty of impressive individual performances for the visitors. In particular, Estevao Willian caught the eye on his first-ever Premier League start.

The 18-year-old right-winger, who only found out he was starting moments before the game because Cole Palmer felt something in the warm-up, introduced himself to his new league with an eye-catching display. His standout moment came when he assisted Enzo Fernandez’s goal after some rapid acceleration and a fine cross.

Estevao received praise from the Brazilian media after his impressive impact in England’s top division.

Blues defender Trevoh Chalobah singled out Estevao for huge praise after the win at the London Stadium. In fact, he made the exciting claim that the teenage rising star will only get better with more experience.

When asked about Chelsea teammate Estevao, Chalobah said via talkSPORT: “He’s done really well. Young player, we all know what quality he has. He’s going to keep growing and growing. Hopefully he’ll help us this season.”
