Enzo Fernandez put in a monster display against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, with a goal and an assist to his name.

Chelsea managed to scrape a 2-1 win against Leicester, with a late penalty making things interesting in the closing moments.

It was Enzo Fernadez‘s goal and assist that really sent the Blues on their way, as he set up Nicolas Jackson for the first and headed home the second.

Many Chelsea fans have been a bit unsure on Fernandez this season, and rightly so as he dropped off the pace towards the start of the campaign.

But, it appears as if their opinions are slowly starting to change after today’s performance against Leicester, with most fans noticing the same thing about his display.

Enzo Fernandez’s performance in numbers against Leicester

Enzo Fernandez put in what was arguably one of his best performances of the season for the Blues.

He played the full 90 minutes in a more advanced, roaming midfield role that really benefitted him.

SofaScore says he scored one goal, provided one assist, had 79 touches, a passing accuracy percentage of 84, made three key passes, created one big chance, won seven out of nine duels, lost possession 12 times, andmade two clearances and one interception.

Moving forward, the Argentine will surely nail down that starting role, especially if he can ensure consistency with Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur coming up.
