Robert Sanchez made a very interesting start to Chelsea’s west London derby against Fulham on Sunday.
Sanchez has made a lot of costly mistakes this season and was responsible for one goal that the Blues conceded last weekend in the eyes of Enzo Maresca.
Maresca blamed Sanchez for a long ball that resulted in Ipswich Town scoring one of their goals in the 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Following that incident, Levi Colwill had a small message for his teammate during Chelsea‘s clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Levi Colwill tells Robert Sanchez to play the ball on the ground
Colwill was clearly keen to avoid a repeat of what happened at Stamford Bridge last Sunday.
Early into the Fulham game, after Sanchez had lofted the ball to Colwill, the central defender was seen gesturing to the goalkeeper to play it on the ground.
Understandably, after all of the mistakes Sanchez has made this term and with fans getting on his back, he has been really nervy with the ball at his feet.
Filip Jorgensen has not been great between the sticks either, so Maresca undoubtedly has an issue in the goalkeeper position at the moment.
Chelsea fans absolutely lost it with Jorgensen during the week after his very unconvincing performance against Legia Warsaw in the Conference League.

Chelsea could replace Robert Sanchez with Mike Maignan
With Sanchez failing to convince in west London this season, Chelsea could replace him with AC Milan’s Mike Maignan.
It has been claimed that Chelsea have made an enquiry about signing Maignan, which is not good news for Sanchez or Jorgensen.
For now, though, the club just have to concentrate on finishing the campaign strongly. There is still so much for Sanchez and Co to play for, with the Blues not only competing for a Champions League spot at the minute.
After beating Legia over two legs in the Conference League, Chelsea have reached the semi-finals of the competition and will be expected to make the final and win the whole thing. They take on Djurgardens next, with the Swedish side the only thing standing in the way between them and another European final.
