Pulisic individually has just one goal and one assist this season, with him struggling like many in front of goal.

His place in the team was already tough to come by before January, where Chelsea used the transfer market in an attempt to completely re-develop their frontline.

They brought in Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke, two recognised wingers who the club believe have great potential.

There has also been the addition of Joao Felix on loan. The attack seems to run through the Portugal international right now, and that may have an effect on how Pulisic likes to play.

Nevertheless, his presence back in training will certainly provide the club a boost.

He posted an Instagram story alongside Mason Mount, who is definitely not enjoying a quiet time of things right now.

Reports have stated that discussions over a potential new contract at the club have been put on hold until the end of the season.

Chelsea are reportedly not afraid to make a decision this summer regarding his future, whether that be tie him down to a new contract or let him leave the club.

The American’s future also looks as if it may be away from Stamford Bridge.

There was every chance he was going to leave in January before injury saw him sidelined for a few weeks.
