Chelsea may have landed themselves a real gem in Malo Gusto.
Chelsea only paid Lyon £26million (Sky Sports) to sign Malo Gusto, which is a relatively small fee when you compare it to some of the wild money spent elsewhere in the past few windows.
In our view, the 20-year-old defender is beginning to look like a sensational buy from the Blues.

Gusto has started the first few weeks of the season with two assists in the opening four Premier League games, both coming against Luton Town. He’s certainly made a positive impression with the Chelsea fanbase from day one.
Now, the attack-minded right-back has followed that up with a stunning assist for France’s Under-21s side on Monday.
Gusto delivered a sublime cross into the penalty box which was volleyed in by Bradley Barcola in France’s 4-0 win against Slovenia in a European Under-21 Championship qualifier.
It’s pretty obvious that the young full-back is the complete package with some great offensive and defensive traits.

If you’ve watched Gusto closely in the early days of his Chelsea career, you’ll notice he loves to defend 1v1 with great aggression, pace and strength.
On top of that, the French youngster provides genuine quality going forward and great composure with his passing.
It’s pretty clear he’s signed to provide cover and competition for Reece James at right-back, who should start to be looking over his shoulder just a little more closely.
Our opinion is James matches any right-back in the world when he’s fully fit and firing. However, his injury form means Gusto is likely to keep getting openings and he’s barely putting a foot wrong right now.
