Chelsea’s summer signing has reacted furiously to his shooting statistic on the new console game EA Sports FC 25.

In fairness, several players in the Chelsea squad have started the new season in decent form in front of goal. The obvious example of that is Noni Madueke, who’s scored four goals in four games so far.

Speaking via talkSPORT this week, Jason Cundy thinks Madueke has nailed down his Blues starting position.

There’s one individual that is raging about his shooting rating on EA Sports FC 25, though.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall fuming with EA Sports FC 25 rating

EA Sports FC 25, which comes out later this month, is an annual console game that some football players take quite seriously

Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is not happy after learning that he’s been awarded a 71 rating for shooting in the new game. For context, the highest possible score is 99.

The £30m star (BBC) feels quite aggrieved because he scored 12 Championship goals last year for Leicester City during their promotion-winning season.

When reacting to his shooting statistic, Dewsbury-Hall said via Chelsea’s YouTube channel: “That’s shocking. I think shooting should be higher. I scored a lot of goals last year.”

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall makes slow start at Chelsea

Unfortunately, Dewsbury-Hall has started pretty slowly during his debut season in Chelsea colours. He’s yet to start in the Premier League, while his Conference League performances have been average.

We expected a bit more from the box-to-box midfielder because he was coached last year by Enzo Maresca at Leicester.

At the age of 26, the left-footed Englishman should be coming into his prime years. It’s worth adding that this is by far the biggest step up in his career, so perhaps he should be allowed some more time as he adapts to the incredible pressure at Stamford Bridge.
