Ben Chilwell has uploaded the first footage of Moises Caicedo inside Cobham after Chelsea finally signed the Ecuadorian from Brighton.

The £50m defender posted the video on Instagram earlier today (Tuesday).

So, what could Moises Caicedo be seen doing at Chelsea in the video posted by Ben Chilwell? Let’s take a look…

What’s the story?

Well, the England international could be heard jokingly asking “do you know him” as he filmed the £115m man inside an ice bath at Chelsea’s training ground, before mocking his inability to handle the icy temperatures.

Caicedo can be seen shivering with his head pushed into a towel as he endures the gruelling ice bath – which athletes use to aid their recovery.

You can see the footage posted by Chilwell on Instagram here.

It was only a temporary story – however – although Frank Khalid reposted the video on Twitter here.

Clearly, Caicedo is already starting to settle in at Cobham – despite only officially becoming a Chelsea player on Monday.

The 21-year-old has signed an eight-year contract at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea also holding an option to extend that deal by a further 12 months.

Moises Caicedo will take Chelsea up a gear

In our view, Caicedo is the most important piece of business Chelsea will do for many years.

Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool showed just how open Mauricio Pochettino’s midfield is right now, as the Blues and the Reds were involved in something akin to a basketball game at Stamford Bridge.

It was chaotically end-to-end between Chelsea and Liverpool, although Caicedo’s presence in the heart of midfield should prevent the Blues from being so easily penetrable through the middle.

Make no mistake about it – there are few better ball winners in the Premier League than the Ecuador international, who is also a very tidy passer.

Hopefully, the South American is able to make his Chelsea debut in Sunday’s Premier League clash against West Ham.
