Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell is set for a small spell on the sidelines with a new injury.
That is according to a report from The Evening Standard.
They claim that Ben Chilwell, 26, recently had a scan on the hamstring problem he suffered this week in the Carabao Cup win against Brighton.
It is explained that the left-back is expected to miss four weeks with the injury, which means he’ll be unavailable for England in the upcoming international break.
The report adds that the full-back’s ‘certain’ to miss Chelsea’s next two games before the internationals. It means he’ll be sidelined for the Premier League fixtures against Fulham and Burnley.

One saving grace for Chelsea is he’ll have two weeks across the international period to recover, so let’s hope he’s not scheduled to miss several more matches.
The Blues vice-captain is one of the more experienced heads in the young dressing room and important to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
However, the amount of injuries he picks up is a real concern. In fact, this is now his third hamstring injury since the beginning of last season.
It’s very unsettling that Chilwell and Reece James, the club’s vice-captain and captain, always seem to spend a section of the season on the injury table.

Chilwell is becoming a real source of frustration due to these constant injury setbacks.
The £50million (Sky Sports) star always seems to get a fresh problem whenever he builds up any momentum, which doesn’t help his prospects at club or international level.
For Chelsea, they’ve got plenty that can cover for him in the next couple of matches. We expect to see Levi Colwill or Marc Cucurella play in the full-back role. Ian Maatsen is another alternative, too.
